Five of Swords

The Lord of Defeat

Swords, 5

Nothing much to see here, folks. A guy has taken his enemies' swords away from them. They slink away defeated and into the night.

Conquest, defeat, destruction of others. Degradation, possible adversaries and enemies, infamy, dishonor.

Uncertain situations, the possibility of loss or defeat. A possible disgrace which would involve those around us. In other words, the meanings are similar to the ones above, only that when the card is reversed it is to be read as possibility rather an a sure thing.
